Most conservatory roof repairs can be done safely from a ladder without accessing the roof directly.
Fixing Leaking Panels
Inspect the sealant around every panel. Apply fresh silicone sealant over any areas where the original has cracked or pulled away. Allow 24 hours to cure.
Fixing a Cracked Polycarbonate Panel
Apply clear waterproof tape to both sides of the crack as a temporary fix. For a permanent repair, unclip the glazing bar, slide out the old panel, slide in the new one, and reclip.
Fixing a Noisy Roof
Apply silicone lubricant around the edges of the panels to reduce noise from thermal movement.
Fixing a Leaking Ridge
Clean out the old sealant. Apply fresh silicone sealant. Press the ridge cap firmly down.
