This page describes the personal-data and storage behavior that could be verified in the current public configuration of FixMyHomeTips.com. It is not a statement that every legal requirement in every country has been satisfied.

Who is responsible

“Fix My Home Tips” is the public-facing name of this editorial website. The legal operator and data-controller identity have not yet been verified for publication. They are therefore not replaced here with a guessed company name, registration number, or address. Privacy questions and requests can currently be sent to fixmyhometips@gmail.com.

Information handled in the current configuration

  • Reading the site: visitors do not need an account. The web host, cache and security layers may process routine request information such as IP address, user-agent, requested URL, referring page, date/time, response status, and security-event details.
  • Email: if you email the address above, the recipient receives the address, message, attachments and other information you choose to send. Do not send passwords, payment-card data, identity documents, health records, or other highly sensitive information.
  • External links: pages may contain ordinary source or social-sharing links. Retailer and affiliate purchase links are currently paused. If a reader follows an external link, the destination receives the normal web request and applies its own privacy practices.
  • Search reporting: the site operator can view Google Search Console reports about search queries, impressions, clicks, pages, countries and device categories. The public site does not need to place a Google Analytics tag for those reports.

Comments, forms, advertising and analytics

Public comments and pingbacks are disabled. The site does not currently display a public contact form; contact is by email. Two unused form plugins were removed after an audit found zero forms and zero stored entries; their empty entries table and plugin-specific options were also removed after backup.

The Google AdSense loader was paused on August 22, 2026 because a suitable consent-management configuration and regional advertising settings had not been verified. Representative public pages audited after that change did not load Google AdSense or Google Analytics scripts. Advertising must not be re-enabled merely by changing this policy; the technical consent controls and account configuration must also be addressed.

Cookies and browser storage

In the audited anonymous requests, representative public pages did not return a visitor cookie in the initial HTTP response. WordPress may use session storage for a browser feature check such as emoji support. Essential hosting or security technology may also be used when needed to deliver or protect the site. Optional advertising or analytics storage should not be activated until the applicable choice and documentation are in place.

When a user signs in to WordPress administration, WordPress uses authentication and preference cookies. That administrator-only behavior is not part of ordinary anonymous reading.

Purposes, legal bases and retention

Routine technical information may be used to deliver pages, diagnose faults, prevent abuse and protect the website. Email information may be used to read and respond to the message and handle related follow-up.

Where the GDPR applies, each purpose requires a valid legal basis and transparent retention information. The operator’s legal-basis record, provider-specific retention periods and any legitimate-interest assessment have not been verified from WordPress and must be completed by the owner. This page does not invent those details. Data should not be retained merely because storage is available.

Providers and international processing

Hosting, caching/security and email providers may process data on the operator’s behalf or for their own defined purposes. Their legal names, processing locations, contractual roles, retention settings and any international-transfer safeguards are being verified and are not guessed here. If retailer links are reactivated in the future, the destination retailer will act under its own terms and privacy notice after a visitor follows such a link.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Rights can be subject to legal exceptions. Send a request to fixmyhometips@gmail.com and include enough information to identify the relevant correspondence without sending unnecessary identity documents.

The correct data-protection supervisory authority depends on the controller’s verified establishment and has not yet been established for publication. That information must be added after owner verification.

Security and children

Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards can reduce risk, but no website, email transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. This publication is intended for a general adult audience and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children.

External links and changes

External services control their own privacy practices. Review the destination’s current notices before providing information or making a purchase. This page will be updated when verified providers, operator details, retention settings, tracking, forms or other data practices change.
