A cracked or broken toilet seat is an easy fix that takes 5 minutes.
What You’ll Need A replacement toilet seat, adjustable wrench.
Step 1: Lift the plastic caps on the back of the toilet seat to expose the bolts.
Step 2: Unscrew the bolts — some need a wrench from below.
Step 3: Lift off the old seat.
Step 4: Position the new seat over the bolt holes.
Step 5: Insert bolts, tighten by hand, then snug with wrench. Don’t overtighten.
